Right in this article, the US Attorney General tries to make the claim that piracy/copyright infringement is linked to terrorism. Give me a break. I would really want to see the evidence that any terrorist group is making money off of this before I entertain the idea. It really should be Al-Qaeda too, since they are the big threat out there.
The government cannot stop buddying up to their big business special interests, even if it means losing all credibility in their "War on Terror." They just cannot resist the temptation to use it as an excuse to further every little special cause they have in their donor lists.
